The Hunt Club

The Hunt Club

They call us The Hunt Club, one chapter in a network of lodges in domains throughout the world where the strong and the brave gather to share stories and recognize the deeds of exceptional hunters. We command the wilds in these parts, where every manner of beast under the Texan moon and more has fallen to the fang and claw of our devoted hunters.

However, we, the members of the San Antonio chapter, have been the laughing stock of the club for too damn long! Once we were known as the boldest and most daring of hunters, and it’s time we take back the title. There’s plenty to hunt in these parts: lupines, FIRSTLIGHT, the occasional bloodhunt, and possibly even some enthusiastic “volunteers”. We sat on our laurels thinking ourselves grand for our efforts and let those yanks and tripes up north take the acclaim we so rightly deserve. During the Day of the Dead, we will enact a grand hunt to bring us back to the top.

Are you brave enough to hunt with us? Experience the scent of blood wafting on the warm wind of the desert sands dissipating heat. The gentle light of stars and moon caressing the dunes and cacti and the subtle sweet blooms perched on the sparse greenery. The feel of your muscles bunched and coiled, waiting for that single moment where the pull, slash, stab or swipe of your weapon of choice gives the waiting wonder you’ve been eyeing its final moments. Join us, and share in the glory of the hunt.

Events in San Antonio

The hunt club has gone through a few bad years and needed to make up for the lack of prestige and good hunts. To help facilitate this the hunt club scouted out  the event and learned of premiere targets giving their hunters a direction to go. When the call went out to go hunting however, only a brave few showed up to make the night theirs.

The hunters tried their damndest, but time and again they were outwitted, outmatched or out maneuvered. The restrictions of elysium outwitted them and made the hunting difficult; a few vampires volunteered for being hunted but only one was ever caught meaning the total prestige of the club was less than they could have hoped for. The werewolf they tracked down was whisked away by some well-to-do member of the Hecata.

The San Antonio chapter of the Hunt Club has fallen on hard, and it never really recovered. The failure of the hunt event around the festival has left its members in bad spirits relative to the other lodges. Will they have a chance to redeem themselves next time?
